thanks, david.

for the big images, a thumbnailer utility is in the comings, i just need free time, something lately i have not had much of. permalinks are tricky and still flawed, but they might work in some cases.

as for metadata, i still have to decide on it, though it is on the list of probable to-dos. what i have to decide is on the best way to show the data, but probably it'll make it into the next big release.

Damn... You never cease to amaze me man. Just as promised by your "minishowcase" website: Barely 15 minutes of work and BAM! (to paraphrase our common idol Steve Jobs), an awesome-looking web gallery! I have to say, one of the best I have seen for drag & drop simplicity. Trully. Sincere congratulations on yet another stretch of your many talents. I have NO idea how you can cope with so much work and still have time to have a life (In fact, i am envious).

Whenever you make it speedier (for digesting my 3072 x 2304 images) I will use it in industrial scale... for now, a small sampler: http://gomez-rosado.com/gallery

BTW dannywho: Let me know if you want the featured cities as photo samples for your download (specify size and quality)... Alternatively, I could also can dress-up mine so you can feature it as "examples" out there.. Can I make URLs/permalinks to a single album/gallery? Hey, I know you can dive into IPTC and EXIF metadata with some available server PHP and/or Perl tools out there (ImageMagick? Mapivi? IPTCinfo?). It would be utterly NEAT to retrieve imbedded title, comments, credit, city/province/country and all the shooting setting info. THEN I will buy it... and blog about it. :-)
